What Is VIVACE
RF Microneedling?
Vivace RF Microneedling is a cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatment designed to stimulate collagen production and improve the overall texture of your skin. Utilizing a combination of microneedling and radiofrequency energy, this FDA-approved procedure targets various skin concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks and enlarged pores. The treatment is performed using a device equipped with gold-tipped needles that penetrate the skin to deliver energy to the deepest layers, enhancing collagen levels and resulting in tighter, smoother skin.

What Areas Can Be Treated with VIVACE?
The face is the most common area treated with Vivace. However, any area of the body that has aging, photodamage or any of the above concerns can benefit from Vivace RF microneedling. Other areas often treated include the chest (décolletage), legs and butt. The hips and abdomen are also commonly treated to reduce the appearance of stretch marks on these areas.
What To Expect
With VIVACE
The Vivace Experience in Clarkston is virtually painless, thanks to the numbing cream applied prior to the procedure. With little to no downtime, this procedure is convenient for busy people.
Results are visible almost immediately, but a series of treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is recommended for optimal outcomes.
The Procedure
Before your appointment, your provider will give you recommendations on how to prepare, like avoiding exfoliating agents and other astringents for at least 24 hours beforehand.
On the day of the treatment, your provider will start by applying a topical anesthetic numbing cream. You’ll wait about 30–45 minutes for it to take full effect.
Once your skin is numb, your provider will methodically move the Vivace handpiece over your face. Vivace utilizes advanced robotic technology with 36 gold plated sterile microneedles to create numerous microscopic “injuries” in the skin. Once these needles enter the skin, RF light energy is emitted from the tip of the needles to further tighten and repair the dermis.
As part of the Vivace Experience, your provider will finish by applying a soothing sheet mask immediately afterward, to calm the skin and minimize redness.
The Recovery
Immediately following treatment, you may be slightly pink and flush in the treated area. This should resolve in about 24 hours. There is no other downtime to VIVACE!
After we remove the sheet mask, the Vivace after care is minimal. You won’t need any true downtime, but you’ll need to keep your skin clear and free of any makeup for at least 4–6 hours, if not overnight.
Microchannels were created in your skin, so it will be more receptive and sensitive to anything you apply.
Avoid direct sun exposure, excessive sweating, and steam for the first couple of days of the healing process, too.

How Does Botox Work?BOTOX was developed to target the cause of fine lines and wrinkling. Over time, facial expressions such as squinting, smiling or frowning cause the facial skin to contract, over and over. BOTOX is injected into the muscles in constant motion, causing them to relax. With reduced muscle activity you will see smoother skin and fewer facial lines.

When Should You Start Getting Botox? There is no set age to start getting BOTOX treatments. If you are in your mid-20s, you might begin to see superficial lines around your eyes. Or maybe a bit later in life, you notice wrinkling, deeper creases created by facial motions, called “dynamic wrinkles.” Men and women of all ages can benefit from BOTOX injections.
-
Does Botox treatment hurt?BOTOX is injected using a tiny needle, and most patients do not find the injections painful. You may feel a small pinch from the needle at the injection site.
-
When will I see results? You should begin to see results in a few days after your BOTOX injections. Optimal results are achieved at two weeks.

How long do wrinkle relaxers last?Depending on how well you care for your skin, neurotoxin injections can last in the range of three to five months before requiring retreatment.

Which is better: Botox or Fillers? While both Botox and dermal fillers like Restylane are long-lasting treatments that can be used to reduce wrinkles, they each take slightly different approaches, treat slightly different problems, and are used in different areas of the face. Botox relaxes muscles so they don't contract and form creases, while dermal fillers fill in or plump up areas that have lost volume or smoothness.
