What To Expect
With MOXI

This treatment destroys the pigmented areas where sun damage or age has caused problems. At the same time, the controlled heating triggers the body to significantly boost its production of collagen. Collagen helps the body regenerate new cells and produce fresh, firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.

This innovative laser rejuvenation treatment can dramatically improve the freshness, texture, and beauty of the skin without causing extreme side effects or lengthy downtime. With this state-of-the-art laser treatment, our practitioners help patients achieve clearer, more beautiful, glowing skin.

Combining MOXI With Other Treatments

Thanks to it's versatility, there are so many treatments that can be paired with MOXI.

If you're interested in combination treatments to target your concerns on a deeper level, you can find a few of our favorite's below or ask us about the best combo during your consultation.

BBL HERO

The combination of MOXI and BBL HERO (broadband light) is an unbeatable treatment pairing for total body skin renewal. MOXI improves the surface and texture of the skin, while BBL evens out areas of excess red and brown pigment. The effect of the two treatments together is truly synergistic.

HALO

The MOXI laser facial also works well with HALO, a hybrid laser treatment, because it enhances and extends the results of the more aggressive procedure. HALO combines both non-ablative and ablative fractional resurfacing and can treat sun damage, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and rough skin.

VIVACE

MOXI Laser and VIVACE RF Microneedling treatments offer complementary benefits due to their ability to target different skin layers. While MOXI Laser focuses on the surface layers to improve skin tone and texture, VIVACE penetrates deeper into the skin for enhanced tightening and contouring. Together, these treatments can provide a comprehensive approach to skin rejuvenation, addressing a wide range of concerns and delivering more noticeable and longer-lasting results.

Sculptra

Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen—the most common protein in the body that is used to form a framework to support cell and tissue—for results that can last more than two years. Pair the MOXI Laser and Sculptra for optimal collagen production from the inside out.

White Feather
The Procedure

Depending on the goals you’ve discussed with your provider, a topical numbing cream may be applied to your skin 30-45 minutes before your Moxi treatment.

During the treatment, as the provider glides the Moxi laser across the skin, you may feel a slight warming sensation, which means the laser is doing its job.

Moxi creates micro-coagulation zones in the skin—the body naturally repairs these zones and replaces damaged cells with healthy, vibrant skin.

The Recovery

Your post-care regimen is simple: Wear a moisturizing physical sunscreen and stay out of the sun. You may wear makeup 24 hours after treatment.

The day after Moxi, your skin may appear red, and, depending on your level of treatment, you may see the small micro dots called “mends” where the laser was applied. As the microzones heal, they will darken and feel rough. Between days 3 and 5, the mends will slough off, revealing new skin beneath.

Wash your skin morning and night with a gentle cleanser. Keep your skin moisturized and apply your favorite physical barrier sunscreen.

  • How Does Botox Work?
BOTOX was developed to target the cause of fine lines and wrinkling. Over time, facial expressions such as squinting, smiling or frowning cause the facial skin to contract, over and over. BOTOX is injected into the muscles in constant motion, causing them to relax. With reduced muscle activity you will see smoother skin and fewer facial lines.
  • When Should You Start Getting Botox?
There is no set age to start getting BOTOX treatments. If you are in your mid-20s, you might begin to see superficial lines around your eyes. Or maybe a bit later in life, you notice wrinkling, deeper creases created by facial motions, called “dynamic wrinkles.” Men and women of all ages can benefit from BOTOX injections.
  • Does Botox treatment hurt?
BOTOX is injected using a tiny needle, and most patients do not find the injections painful. You may feel a small pinch from the needle at the injection site.
  • When will I see results?
You should begin to see results in a few days after your BOTOX injections. Optimal results are achieved at two weeks.
  • How long do wrinkle relaxers last?
Depending on how well you care for your skin, neurotoxin injections can last in the range of three to five months before requiring retreatment.
  • How much Botox will I need?
This varies depending on several factors. These are the most common dosage range per area being treated. 11 Lines: 20-30 Units Forehead Lines: 12-24 units Crows Feet: 9-15 units each eye Lip Flip: 4-8 units Chin Dimpling: 6-12 units
  • Can I get Botox while pregnant or breastfeeding? (This includes all neuromodulators)
It is not recommended to receive any BOTOX treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding. The effects of the treatment are local but pregnant women must be more careful than others due to the growing baby. During this time alternative treatments such as mild facial treatments can keep your skin fresh and glowing.
  • Which is better: Botox or Fillers?
While both Botox and dermal fillers like Restylane are long-lasting treatments that can be used to reduce wrinkles, they each take slightly different approaches, treat slightly different problems, and are used in different areas of the face. Botox relaxes muscles so they don't contract and form creases, while dermal fillers fill in or plump up areas that have lost volume or smoothness.
